Sounds like you are gonna have a great time DonO! Catch one for me. LOL

Yup, we need some rain here in Texas, it is drier than a popcorn fart here
these days, in what used to be the sub-tropical rain forest of southeast Texas.
We are over 30 inches short for the past 18 months.

If at first you don't succeed, maybe you shouldn't try sky diving!

Going campin' this weekend.  Miracle Mile
above Pathfinder Res.

Temps expected in the mid 70s, w/ high 40s and
low 50s overnight.  (probably cooler up there in the
mountains)

Big browns should be hitting
streamers.

DonO

PS  Sure hoping you Texans get some rain soon-
looks miserable down there.

ION, finally got to the pond Tuesday afternoon for 45 mins to try out the
new streamer. I'll post pics in the next day or two.
I could definitely
use some fish pics.  Rained here too...about 11-12 drops it appeared, and
we were told it was showering in a few places here in North Texas.
Temps
were only in the mid 80's today and that was a relief for sure, but gonna
start climbing again tomorrow.  Even the mid 90's feel cooler after this
  summer.
I'm ready for fall rains to start.  Weather dudes and dudettes
say we only need about 15" of rain to get us back to
a semi normal situation.  Water rationing going to stage 3(whatever that
is) in many counties.  I think it means only watering once every two
weeks and you have to ask for water in restaurants.
  <shrug>
Can't pipe water in from Texoma because of the Zebra mussels,
but one guy said they'll be able to pump when the mussels are through
spawning
when cold weather hits.  Hadn't heard of that , and I wonder how cold is
  cold enough to stop them.
