Hi All; I'm not tying right now, my bench is blocked by christmas decorations. I am expanding my rodbuilding skills by learning how to turn reel seat inserts. I have some burled Oak from a tree that fell in my backyard and I'm learning how to process the wood into blanks, turn it and next step will be treating with hardener and finally applying the finish.
