I understand. But I just miss all those American Flags and huge signs that said
"Made in the USA" all over the Wal Mart stores. I don't mind putting them down
because my wife has a cousin who worked for them, and they had her taking "Made
in China" tags out of shirts and sewing in "Made in America" tags in their
place. This woman is a good Christian woman, and had no reason to lie. Sam
Walton is SPINNING over in his grave right about now. GREED got the best of

I have had people out on my boat that were fishing Wal Mart
flies and the flies did not last from the time we were out till we got back.

When I was tying for the shops and resorts I was
able to buy my materials in bulk. I would buy hooks in 1000 lots and get a good
discount on my other materials. Chenille was bought by the 144 yard skein
Thread bought 10 spools at a time and things like that kept the price down.
I think the flies that are selling for .50 cents
each are imported flies tied in India or some other country that has cheap
labor. Even at bulk buying, I could not sell my flies for .50 cents each.

on there sell their flies, mostly just pretty simple patterns for only 6/$2.99

cents or a dollar tops. Now, any hooks alone that are name brand, unless they
are having a great sale, are gonna run ya up to a about 15.8 cents each @

they just doing it to try to recoup some money on a hobby they enjoy doing
