LOL- we actually have a thread about a thread going. Been a long time. Nice
to see VFB posts again on a tying subject.

Anyone interested in seeing a different take-off on rope-dubbed flies?
(rope-dubbers)
Very interesting look- very 'buggy'. But you'll need a tool- a copper wire
brush. Works best with natural fur dubbing, and somewhat with synthetics.
Works with rope-furled natural fur dubbings= leeches & worms.

I too would be interested in this thread. Where do you get it at? Sounds
like it would be great for micro flies!!

  Hi Chuck,

I have tried Veevus thread, I got my hands on some from some one in Denmark
after I first heard about it. I really like it but I need to find a new
supplier (not that hard).

I use the 16/0 size for my smaller flies and cann't fault it. It is very
strong, I would say the strongest thread for its size and produces very little
bulk.

Anybody ever tried a thread with the brand name of "Veevus" from Denmark???
I noticed it at J.R. Stockard's site. A bit pricey at $2.95 per only 100 meter
spools, but is it worth it?? pros/cons anybody?? Thanks, Chuck
