I have decided to "cut the cable" which in effect means that I am dropping Shaw cable service for my phone and internet and in the not too distant future likely for my TV as well.
Since I will likely soon lose my [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> e-mail address, I am instead going to use Fastmail and my email effective now is [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> (note there is no dot between nev & gosling as with shaw) I might regret doing this but time will tell, as I am fed up with paying for a lot of channels that I never watch.
