Do we have any chemistry specialists on this list? If so, what do they know
about liquid wax? I would like to experiment with making some fly floatant and
one of the ingredients of a recipe I have calls for liquid wax supposed to be
available from a store that sells products for making candles. Any of the
candle stores I have contacted do not have or even know where to get liquid wax
(apart from melting it).

The only liquid wax that I have found is liquid car wax usually the hard and
high priced carnuba type. Solid paraffin wax is the normal wax associated with
dry fly floatant and that is readily available. I am also looking for a source
of liquid silicone and so far have only found one.

Any thoughts of suggestions anyone?
