Really tough to hear about your fishing waters. Hope you have a snowy
winter.

Liquid wax or liquid paraffin can be found in those clear plastic
containers with a wick on top. I get mine in packs of six at a restaurant
supply place. Restaurants use these to heat food warming trays, instead of
the old votive candles.

The clear liquid you can see inside is liquid paraffin.

Let me know if you are unfamiliar with these. If that's the case, I will
try to find a picture.
