Hi DonO;

Something I'd like to have but don't necessarily need.
Seriously considering a Norvise. It's something I promised myself I'd get some day.
Wayne,

IF you get the Nor-vise, be sure to get at least one or two Nor-bobbins. They go hand-in-hand. Watch Norm's videos and you can see how they work so well together.

I bought a used Nor-vise and am still getting acclimated. My main problem is height - or should I say my lack there-of. The 8-foot bench I tie on was raised up 4" for my wife to use as a cutting table back when she was doing a lot of sewing. The Norvise is a tall vise, and with my rotator cuff problem, I can only hold my arms up that high long enough to tie a couple or three flies when my shoulder starts burning. If I ever get a lower table, I think I'll really like it.

As far as the Nor-bobbins, I love 'em.

Al
