I guess it is all a matter of taste. 
I had a Norvise and hated it from the get go.
Gave it away and never regretted it. 
The only part of that is that I have since learned that you must wrap the 
thread around the leg of the bobbin two  times for it to work properly.
I have been thinking of getting an automatic bobbin, either a Nor-bobbin or the 
Eicht?

I sprang for a C&F bobbin that cost a few dollars but use it more than any of 
my other bobbins. It just feels so solid and quality made, that I don't regret 
ever buying it.
