When I first got to the spot I was going to fish, there was a guide with two clients. One had landed about a 20" brown and the other about a 24" bow. When I finally got back with my license and some flies I fish the weed bed where the 24"er was hiding. He came up about three times and looked at my fly, but no takes.
I really couldn't complain much because the fishing was a little slow for everyone else. I quit around 2:30 with frozen feet. Man that water was cold. The wind didn't help much either.
