Hi Joyce, It might also be due to the company that you bought them off. A friend of mine ordered from them last year and asked for specific colours of hackle. What he got was way of colour and when he contacted them the person who runs the company was what can only be described has nasty so I won't deal with them. Personally I also like to only buy hackle I can see and examine my self.
