Folks: About 2-3 weeks ago, I ordered a $59.95 spool of Orvis fly line as it
was on sale for $29.95. It casts great. BUT, that same day, I ordered a
spool of no brand of eBay because it was only $5.99 plus 99 cents shipping
just to see what the difference is between the higher dollar brand name and
the no brand stuff. I stung it up this morning and there IS a difference.
And that difference is this. That no name spool outcasts the Orvis line by a
mile. I couldn't believe how that cheap stuff casts both in distance and in
accuracy. I highly recommend it for sure. I ordered a 6wt line and put it on
a 5/6 wt rod btw. Chuck
