that was tied onto the bend of the hook was causing the quick
release. I am now tying the dropper to the eye of the lead hook.
Read an article in a fly fishing book talking about using a clear
seed bead, and a tippet ring. Tie both on the tippet ring but one
shorter then the other and it eliminates the hooks getting fouled
together. Will try this as soon as I can find the two sizes of tippet
rings I have. ( the mind is a terrible thing to loose).
Will be going out next Tuesday. I will be fishing for Largemouth Bass
as well as Trout.

will go to a local pond and try for Bluegills. Normally this
would be a guaranteed success. But you never know. The last
time I took them they wandered around the pond trying to catch
frogs. They had a great time. Which is the whole point. I
remember doing the same for crawdads when I was a kid in West
Virginia.
