Don't get me starter on hunting season... In north Idaho I've had shots whistle 
overhead while nymphing a good run - it's not that uncommon. I usually switch to some 
blaze orange duds till the rifle fire and the season dies down - but I've also belly 
crawled out of harms way once or twice. 

We're lucky that there's not that much fishing pressure most of the year (lots of 
miles of good fishable water) so folks are fairly respectful. If someone's crowding 
me, I usually ask them what stretch of water they plan on fishing - most folks get the 
hint and we figure out how to stay out of eachothers way.
