Aye, Brian. And always carry a Snake Bite Kit - Here in Texas it's
a fruitjar full of "Moonshine". Put a little bit on the bite, and drink
the rest ;~))

Good point , Bob. I, too, have a Carry Permit. I'm nearly always
armed when in snake country. (Never had the misfortune of being chased
by a copperhead, though.) The unlucky souls who have crowded me enough
to make me lose my temper have rarely even responded. They just move away.
I firmly believe in "first come...", unless you actually hold title to
the water in question. This bullheaded persistence I have in believing
that right is right and rude/moronic behavior deserves verbal abuse will
probably be my eventual downfall.
