I got a sense from some of the responses that some of you don't lose as many flies as I do. I probably lose 8 or so flies per trip, on average, many of which meet a watery death, never to be seen again. I try to fetch the ones in the trees, when I can reach. Most annoying of all is dropping a size 20something and not being able to find it.
