Paul,

I have some close friends, almost family, on Long Island. I'll be gosh
darned though if I'll ever drive up there again after the last wedding I
addended in northern LI. I've never driven so slow so far in my life.

Bob

I get my training for the LL on the connetquot river on Long Island. We have
lots of big trout but very difficult to cast with out snagging something.

Paul,

The Heritage section of the Little Lehigh is particularily nice, although
sometimes crowded. This part of the state is over-run with good places to
fish. I had some success at the LL this fall; I caught a few willows, a
pine and quite a few thorn bushes in addition to a few trout. I also
dropped a $3 fly almost immediately after I bought it and lost it in the
leaves. Another sacrifice to the fishing gods.

Bob

GT,

I live in Bethlehem. Although there's still water to fish, the
holidays/family cut into my fish time around this time of year. I usually
fish a little in Dec, and generally don't do much in Jan/Feb/March.

Where are you?

Bob

Bob,
Where in PA do you live? Just got in from a pretty good day on a nearby
trout stream, 11 fish on nymphs fished deep. We fish just about weekend
year
round and a lot during the week. If you're close by, you're welcome to fish
with me or the group.
