I'm for free speech here.
I have fished only with flies over the past 4 years. I often attach flies to spinning rods or can rigs (for details on can rigs go to my website (another shameless self promotion)).
Crossover fishing, fishing with flies on spinning rigs and non-fly lures (whatever that means) on fly rods is an orphaned topic. If we ignore it, are we really doing ourselves any favors?? There's always the delete key. I would like to see ourselves as a group that encourages a little nudging of the envelope here in cyber space.......
Can someone direct me to an image of a glue gun fly and directions?? I'm not familiar with these at all.

Just for the record on this subject, I think you are all nuts. Fishing in general is about having fun in the outdoors. Now I don't just fly fish, nor do I just spin fish, heck, I have even used a worm on a fly rod! I say as long as the trout and I are happy, then that is all that matters. I am definitely not putting down purist of the fly, now the spin fisher, I just want us all to get along and have fun chasing dreams of 20 lb. trout!
Just a Thought,
