Gary was a "class act" all the way. Especially during his battle with
ALS. Never once did I hear any complaints from him. I sincerely hope
his family will take some comfort in knowing that Gary was loved and
appreciated by the legions of fly fishers that read his articles, books
or had the chance to sit at his feet and learn from him in person.
