Merle, I am a big fan of thread furled leaders for my surface trout fishing. Surface as in dries or slightly sub-surface fished flies. You can get them ready made from Jim Cramer ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) They are a 'steal' at US$6, plus postage. Specify line weight, length and color preference. Jim makes them from Un-Thread 6/0, so the range of colors is quite extensive. I like mine in white, yellow, orange and black. Cheers, Hans
