After hearing about Gary's passing I was re-reading my Book Mailer for Fall/Winter 2001. I found an item I had missed in previous readings at the bottom of page 47. "Last summer the Royal Double Wing did really well on Beaver Creek in S.E. Minnesota. I even caught trout while our young Springer pup (Tess) was splashing across the creek" I sent that letter to Gary a few years back since Tess is now four. Anyway, I know what I'm tying for the swap. Watching the video(Tying Attractor Flies) which has scenes Gary and Jack fishing on the Green River with Chester Gary's dog brings more than a few tears. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
