Please sign me up for this swap. I will be tying the Thompson Foam Caddis
found on pages 74 and 75 of Gary's book "Caddisflies". I will be tying it
in the original mink although, I like it tied in woodchuck hair as
well. One of the many strengths of the book "Caddisflies" is that it is
full of innovation. In this fly Gary described a fly innovated by someone
else that is effective, fits the way that trout see food, and (important to
my fly tying) is tied from inexpensive materials.

Let me also tell how I came to own this book. I took the two children of a
friend with me for an afternoon and we tied some simple flies that we then
fished with and caught a few bluegills. A few weeks later, their mother
dropped off the book "Caddisflies" for me and said, "I picked this up at a
tag sale, I don't know if you are interested but here it is for you." I
gave her a big hug!
