Size 8 with olive green colored

Hi Shay!

There's a really simple pattern that's used on the Frying Pan with good success, so I'm sure it would work on other Colorado waters.  It's a size 8 or 10 comparadun style fly.  Mustad 9672 or more expensive equivalent(I like the Eagle Claw LO58's that Tony Spezio got me "hooked" on about 4 years ago...)
             Thread:  Olive 6-0 Unithread
Tail:  Deer hair, but don't flair it out too much by cinching down on it too tight.
             Body:  Western Olive Fly-Rite(that's #29)
             Wing:  Deet hair, comparadun style
Head:  more dubbing in front of the wing.
Whip finishx2 or head cement, and that's it!  :-)

Go for it!
