Ed, the easiest way is to tie it in with the round side towards the hook when tied in 
and tied a slight angle "down."  When you wrap it it "folds" over and with the round 
side up.  dont feel bad, it took me a while to get it too :-)  If you want the flat 
side up, tie in with flat side towards the hook.  Hope this helps a little, Matt
