preferences on fly boxes for streamers

The next flybox I get's going to be one of those "nubby tack" jobs! (wellllllll, actually it'll be the one for the 2002 Caddis 100 because I'll be too busy tying caddis flies to play around getting up a Cabela's order...) My fishing buddy from Spring Creek had a couple of the clear ones that you hook together, back to back. He got them from Cabela's. Both of us were impressed with the functionality of these boxes. It was my observation that this stuff is probably not worth a crap for smaller flies, but certainly for streamers, size 10 or 12 and larger, it works great. My only concern would be, does the stuff dry out and crack after a few years? Anyone have any experience with this?
