Never tryed it for Steelhead...but that's a GREAT idea. I'm certian the YUBA Steelheads would find it acceptable. I've fished the Various versions of the Picket Pin for Brook,rainbow & Brown Trout, Bluegill, Bass, Catfish.. And will try them for Carp this year. The Picket Pin is an effective pattern from the Past that deserves any serious Anglers' attention, and a Place in their fly box.
