Have to stick my .01 cents in on this stuff too. BUY SOME! Byard sent me a sample with my order. Next time i make an order with him it will include some! The stuff dubs smoothe, after you get used to it. And it makes the fly heavy. I make a super deep fly that is good below bobbers (SI's) because it gets down and stays down. Get a curved scud hook and put on the appropriate bead. Get some lead appropriate for the hook and make 7 or 8 wraps and then cram it against the bead. Use the thread to make a tapered body shape and then QD dub the whole fly. Add a hackle if you wish but its not really needed. This fly will STAY DOWN. Also adds weight to regular flies and a little flash/shine. Hope i encouraged you to get some, Matt
