Well since nobody responded to my post yesterday, I figured one of two
things. 1) This is old news and was discussed prior to me coming aboard,
or 2) For some reason I am blacklisted. Since I have no control over #2, I
decided to tackle #1.

Today at 11:00 am I had to run home to meet the plumber delivering my new
dishwasher. I figured, why not tie a few flies.

I am in the process of tying some conehead wooly buggers where I have been
using variegated chenille. So I took some olive ice dub, a few peacock
herls, a couple of black and brown ostrich herls and a grizzly hackle. Did
a rope dub and was pleased with the results. What I like most was that even
though my rope had length left when I needed to tie it off - I just let go -
everything unraveled and I had my thread left to tie off with.

My previous questions are now answered. Except for one:

I just received my Quad Turbo Twister.

Does anyone have experience with this? My wife is hosting a Mary Kay party
and I am delegated to reside downstairs tonight at my vise. (I am not
complaining)

I don't often spend $30 for a new tool. I am dying to use it all night.

I need some ideas on what to tie that will definitely feel that this tool is
useful.

Thanks.

Chris
