Welcome Retrievers do make good dubbing. I have a friend who has a little less of a dog now. Yes, after a while everything looks like tying material. My brothers laugh at me. He knows when I'm eyeing something up for potential material. There was a thread a while back about alternative tying materials and tools. Here are some of the ones I recall: - Different colored foil wrapping from chocolate candy - Anti static packaging from any electronic device makes great flash backs - The disk, in a floppy disk, for shellbacks, legs and wings - Dryer Lint for dubbing - The glossy white fibers from fiberglass cloth - Webbing from a lawn chair
