One other idea you might try. Years ago when latex first appeared on the fly
tying scene, latex was available as a liquid. You could make your own latex
sheet and color them any color you wanted. I did it and it worked great.
However I haven't done it in years and do not know if this liquid latex is
still available. Craft stores would be the best place to try. Tandy Leather
used to carry this product when they were around.
