hi John: You probably havent looked at Trey Combs' books: Steelhead flyfishing and flies, etc. You will find plenty there. Lots of history and patterns in both books. Good Luck PS: Lester Johnson told me to "get over it!" "Noone these days is interested in historical salmon or steelhead patterns or their use". I personally think someone dropped him on his head!
