I found a really nice lanyard manufactured by Mountain River Lanyards(couldn't find a web site for them)but they are out of Red Lodge, MT 59068. It has a place to store spools of tippet, a cushioned neck, it is adjustable, has a dry cloth, has foam on it to dry out flies and 4 other connections for hemostats, nippers, floatant, small flyboxes and other things. I have no vested interest in the company but so far I love it. It is getting to hot here in SC to wear a vest and keeping up with all the gear it can handle in your pockets can be a hassel.
I bought mine at Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC. The USB code on this one is 53526 35926, I don't know if that differs from store to store or is different on their on-line catalogue. It was $19.99.
