    depending on the color of the water and the  type
    of suspended material in the water. 
 
Point 2.  Water becomes more monochromatic (one
    color) the deeper you go. 
 
Point 3.  Color shifts have been photographed in 
    clear tropical sea water at 20 feet.  Similar
    color shifts take place in shallow
   depths in water with significant suspended
