Thanks for the tips on steaming flies. It worked. All
the flies are fishable and probably 90% of them look
as good as they did when they came off the vise. On
some of the larger ones, you could actually watch the
hackle straighten itself out, just as Roy said.
This is one of the great things about this list. You
can find out about things before you even know you
need it. It would never have occurred to me to steam
flies if I hadn't seen it on the list.
