My guess is "no". The bag would crush feathers. The reason teakettle steaming works is that you are doing one fly at a time, holding it by the hook, and the feathers are free to go back to their 'preferred" orientation. If you put a bunch of flies in a bag in an autoclave, they're all going to be jammed together. Might make an interesting artistic collage, though. Just my humble guess.
