Chris, I used to live in North Alabama, just south of the Tennessee Line. Just about every creek/stream around Johnson City is full of little "brookies". Surely somebody on the list can give you more detailed info. Tennessee is one of those states that I still don't have covered in my Worldwide Flyfishing Resources Website.
I'd look up the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce Website - just go to Google.com and type it in. You'll eventually find what you want.
