Hey Mike-

Just got off the phone with my friend Brad. He says
the ocean fishing on the flats for bonefish, permit
and travelli (sp?) is awesome.

As far as freshwater, he said he thinks maybe there is
a stocked lake (or pond) on Oahu that is a pay-to-fish
deal. Doesn't sound too promising, but who knows.
Don't know what kind of fish, must be way too warm for
trout. Also said to check with the local tackle shops
who would be happy to help out.

Maybe some of the saltwater types on the list can give
you some tips. Good luck and good fishing.

                       -John

The River-
You passers-by, who share my journey,
You move and change,I move and am the same;
You move and are gone, I move and remain.
