My favorite bluegill fly is a plain chartreuse popper with white rubber legs. But, as you know, they'll hit just about anything!

Why fry'em Murph.  Ain't you never heard of  Bluegill Sushi?

I'm part Scotish and hate to waste.  When cooked whole (remove scales and inards), the meat falls from the bone but you still need to be careful about missed bones.  To make sushi, you would have to fillet and gills ain't that big most times.  I guess you could fillet and use the rest to make a bouillabaisse.  VFB content:  What is your favorite bluegill fly?
