There are literally dozens of flies that you could use on a lake like that. And for your lake, I would ask at a local fly shop. You also did not mention what sort of speices you would target. But in a general way, you could try a fly called a woolly bugger in black, brown or olive green, or you could try carey specials in similar colors. These will appeal to many types of fish. Also for lake fishing many of us like full sinking lines, I like the type 3 and intermediate sink lines including my floater. One of the big deals with fishing lakes is getting down to the fish. But again, it all depends on the fish you are after- if you are after panfish and the like, a floating line and a small popper may do quite well.
