Thanks for the reply to me. I was surprised that they were rude to you..I have dealt with them for the past 5 years and they have been nothing but kind to me and very quick to respond when it comes to consumer service. I'll send you post on to Jim as he will want to know of this experience. I'm hoping that you got someone who was having a bad day. It is interesting to note in the 2002 gear report in Flyfish america that all of their rods were given ratings as good as, or to exceed those of much higher priced rods in the tests that were run. So..rudeness aside, I'm thinking that the rods themselves are a darn good investment. Joyce

     JOYCE...Others,
Just a quick note, Reddington no longer has that "Bring the broken rod into any dealer & they'll exchange it for a new one" thing. Now-a-days you have to send it in to the factory...like all other Rod Companies.. Personally I've never tried a Reddington or dealt with the Company so I'm not qaulified to past judgement.... i heard that new policy from a tackle rep, who visted the store i work at.... my $0.02 on the subject. HOWEVER, I'd recommend checking out ELKHORN RODS... Great Rods, Great Company...I've dealy with them numerous times...Great prices as well...
