Ok, I am an epoxy beginner, but I do have at least one of the tools: a 4 rpm motor rod turner with a piece of foam fitted on to it for drying epoxy flies.
My problem is this, as the surf cadies turn the hair, kinky fiber, slinky fiber, whatever moves down and around, and eventually I get this big wide flaired fly, not a little skinny surf candy. Should I turn them? If not, then how to get the nice round heads? If I am supposed to, then how do I stop the flaring?
