I have been wanting a 3 wt alot lately, but couldn't decide on what rod to get. I have been reading alot of good reviews on different message boards regarding Cabela's Three Forks 7'6" 3pc 3wt -- while it only costs $40, the reviews seem to give the rod alot more credit than its cost. I have also been looking at the St. Croix Legend Ultra 3pc 3wt. Yes, I know extreme differences in price. Since I couldn't make up my mind about a rod -- i went an ordered myself a lightweight reel (a pflueger supreme 1834) that weighs only 3.2oz. I figured this would prompt me to make a decision on a rod.
