Hi there,
     I have been a fan of Alpaca for many years. Just like you said it is a 
simple manageable dubbing that has great results. When I tie with it I make 
sure to wax it up well to prevent it from completely soaking through. For 
some reason it just doesn't hold fast as well when it gets soaked (similar 
to wool)... By the way ,, is anyone interested in an Alpaca swap???
