Hmmm.  My last fish of the day 8/30/02 was a cutthroat just under 19
inches.  It took  well over twenty minutes to bring him in (Powell
3-weight, #16 Quigley, 6x tippet).  For much of the tussle I thought he was
much bigger, and was actually half-considering the possibility that he
might end up on my wall as a first-time trophy. <g>  Turned out he was
foul-hooked in the throat, across the leading edges of both gill covers;
(not a bad wound, no blood, and he seemed to swim away okay upon release).

The idea of 35+ fish of that sort makes my wrist hurt just to think about
it (one reason why he was the last fish of the day!)  Still, I would indeed
like to have your pattern. Meantime, maybe I'll mount the Quigley.
