I looked at it on ebay, and seeing the seller is in the Seattle area, and based on the color of the rod, I am going to guess that its a Rainshadow blank. They make a medium action rod of about 40,000 modulous, and another of about 60,000 that is a faster action. Their rods are generally inexpensive as they are not well known out of the PNW. I built a 9' 4wt rod out of one of the 40,000 rods, and it is pretty nice. Not that it will cast a country mile, but that it is comfortable to cast for hours, and I built it. Well, since that rod, every rod is now customized by me. Possibly the best stock of the rods is at www.gregscustomrods.com, which is again having website problems this morning.
