What do you have to do to the hide after removing it from the animal? What
kind of salt and is there anything else that needs to be done so it doesn't
stink up the joint? I've never used skins from animals I've taken but want
to start. Help's appreciated and if it isn't too difficult and time permits
I might be able to bring back some deer hair. Thx,

I use straight borax for all of mine. I haven't done a deer, but it works for smaller game.
