I'm going to say there is none. (bad English)
A woolly bugger will do the job however,
it all depends on the conditions.
Clear lake in the morning when they are rising...
A river, fishing into the falls, or in fast moving water (forget the dries)...
Light misty rain (often rising) or bright sunny day...

Now for an added question to everyone.
Do different trout feed on different flies.
I catch more than my share of rainbows but
browns I have a problem with. I can fish with
someone and we'll each catch the same number
but he'll catch 1/2 browns and I'll have all bows?
This seems to be a consistent thing. Fluke? Maybe?

Subject: [VFB] back to fishin'

Alright, boys, I'd say it's time to talk some fishin.   What are the best flies for stocked trout?  I DO NOT want to use corn, or a corn fly!  Would wooly buggers do the job?
