Hi John:

This is a product that Montana fly is marketing. They are calling it the
Henry's Fork Hackle (tm). Through some fly shops maybe Byard's business.
Anyway it appears to be the regular CDC that they have wrapped on thread and
kind of created a new duck hackle. Anyway I had a sample from them and was
trying on parachutes. I just cannot hardly imagine the poor people that
have to set and pluck the cdc feathers and stick between 2 pieces of thread.
Talk about corporal punishment.

Montana fly has some products that I have been testing for my own tying.
They have a new wing sheet material called Etha wing that works good on some
of my hopper patterns. Their other wing product, is a little stiffer then I
like for a wing material. I still have find time to try the swishers rub a
dub dubbing.

I will probably get a thousand lasses from Byard again:o Just my opinion on
some fly tying materials. I am always looking for materials that work good
on some of my favorite patterns, just need more time to work on the testing
stage.
