[VFB] DonO - North Platte

DonO (or anyone else)-

I saw you were from Casper so thought I'd bounce a question off you. I spent a few hours on the North Platte below Gray Reef last week and was really suprised by the amount of weeds/moss. We caught a bucketful of 6" rainbows, and I'm not complaining about this, but couldn't get into any of the 16"+ fish I latched into in late May. Is this normal for the river? If so I'll schedule my fishing trips there for the spring!
