   Forgot to mention that for Winter Time Steelhead, besides a number of the mentioned patterns, I also use to great effect;

 

  Gold Comet, Boss, Flame Boss, Golden Goose, Silver Comet, Black Marabou Streamer, Barbied Shrimp and the Pink Frammus..

 

  Now my selection is Complete..

 Since Don & Rick have been posting  Polls about Lister's favorite tools, Top ten Flies & un-favorite tools, I thought I'd start up another poll. I have enjoyed reading everyone's post in response to these Polls, very informative.

 My Poll is this; Your favorite Steelhead flies; Wetflies, Egg Patterns, Dry Flies, Nymphs,Spey type patterns are all useful for pursuing the Noble Steelhead. Let's hear what you folks are throwing to them.

 My List is as follows;

  WETFLIES = Silver Hilton, Assassin, Thor, Weitchpec Witch, Brindle Bug, Fall Favorite, Polar Shrimp, Trinty Torch, Yuba Wine, Pagoda Girl, Green Butt Skunk & Carter's Favorite

  NYMPHS = BH Black & Peacock Wooly Bugger, LaFontaine's Free Living Caddis, Prince Nymph, Yuba Stone, Steelhead Soft hackle in Olive, Yellow or Orange.

  EGG FLIES = BH EGGs, Babine Special, Two Egg Spream Fly, Crystal Eggs.(assorted colors on all these patterns..of course)

  SPEY Dark Maggie, Black Lara, Green Butt Skunk
